He should be fine. You may see some GI upset, though-vomiting a diarrhea. If he has multiple episodes of vomiting, have him checked out be a vet. Pancreatitis is a possible with dietary indiscretion. He could also become dehydrated if he is vomiting.

Keep a close eye on him for a couple of days.

Be ready to take him out alot, he'll probably get diareah for a couple days until it gets out of his system. If he does, make sure he stays hydrated (give him ice cubes to chew on, and mix dry food with warm water).

How much? No matter how much, you'd best be prepared for a really big bout of diahrrea. I mean a lot, for awhile. A day or so, probably. Make sure there's plenty of water, and if your dog isn't drinking, try offering really wet foods. Dehydration is the big thing here, you've got to make sure that doesn't happen. Good luck, and I hope you have lots of paper towels and an iron stomach :)

As long as it wasn't car oil, that'll kill him, otherwise you have a dog that can run and has the runs so diaper him inside and take him outside to get rid of the runs, but keep him hydrated. Ice cubes are great. Feed him boiled chicken without salt and no spices and bland rice. You can also give him one tablespoon a day of pepto bismol, our vet recommended this for Snowball and it worked! glgl, Mzz

Veg oil is not toxic to dogs, but depending on how much he ate, he'll probably have very loose stools for a few days. let him out as often as possible, or even better take him on walks, if weather permits. Like people, sometimes diarrhea can hit unexpectedly so being outside will help him AND you!Also, walking with him will help, as movement/exercise can make him rid himself of the oil faster.

well, it shouldn't be a big problem. Just be sure to take him/her out on walks because after drinking vegetable oil, he/she can poo a lot. Make sure it stays hydrated but if it doesnt drink anything EXCEPT vegetable oil, then u should see ur vet. good luck!
