What should i do if my dogs hate each otherive had them for like a year2007-11-25 2:53:08

well my dogs absaloutly hate each other

well are they vicious towards each other or do they just ignore each other. Also do you show one dog more attention than the other?? If you are showing one dog more attention the other dog is jealous & will become aggressive. what you may want to try is seperating them for a while & spend a little one on one time with each dog & then slowly start reintorducing them to each other. spay and or neuter them . introduce them slowly to each other and make it a positive experience. Give them lots of prais eand treats. Treat them equally so they dont feel the need to fight over attention or food.

Maybe they are jealous of each other. Spend time with them together. Show one dog as much attention as the other.

If this doesn't work , have them to stay in different parts of the yard and house if you want to keep them both.

you did not say they were the same age but I am guessing they are not

o how sad! Talk to your vet, and he / she would be able to give you some advice. Teh only advice I can give is make sure that they are spayed/neutered ,have their shots, and flea and worm treatments, and have been fed enough food, and are given a lot of equal attention... Other than that???
