What sould i feed my2007-11-25 2:53:11

chihuahua puppy i'm getting her in a month i was going to get royal canin but people have said that it is not a good food i live in france but the food is the same english dog food (the same brands) what sould i feed her ?

I can't believe someone above ^^^ said that Ol Roy is the best food. PLEASE do not listen to that person. Ol Roy is one of the worst, if not the worst dog food on the market. You might as well feed your dog saw dust.

Someone else mentioned Innova food, and I agree. That is what I feed my 5 1/2 month old Silky Terrier. Our vet is very happy with this food and he is doing great. His coat is shiny and soft, his eyes are clear, his ears are standing perfectly, and he is overall a very healthy puppy. He was previously on Purina Puppy Chow (what the breeder had him on, not my choice) and he was getting sick on a consist ant basis. He came to us from the breeder with Giardia so we had to have him on a special bland diet. After that we had switched him to Innova and he has been perfect since.

You should check out their website, the person above gave it in their source section. It's a great food and it will do your precious little puppy a lot of good.

In general, a good rule is to stay away from the "popular" brands; including Purina, Eukanuba, Iams etc. They say all the right things, but their food is terrible. Do the research, read the ingredients, talk to a vet.
