dogs are supposed to have wet noses and if they dont THEN they r sick but other than that hes probably FINE.
is he just laying around; not really eating? If so I would take hm to the vet because he might have a cold. If not just watch him for a few days.
That's it, just a runny nose? No runny eyes, no sneezing, no lethargy.. no diarrhea, no temperature or anything else?? Might be the weather, might be something that bothers his nose, ( perfumes etc ) might be allergies... Could be alot of things.. If he still has it in a day or two, take him in to the vet if you can't figure out what it is that is irritating his nose.. If he develops other symptoms, a cough temperature etc, then definitely take him in.

give him a tissue
I'm pretty sure its important for the nose to be wet. If there are no other symptions, I wouldn't worry
