What to do with a puppy that just doesnt listen

yelling at her wont work she just barks at you

hitting her would just make her think ur playing with her

time-out/outside time would just make her bark like a crazy maniac!

shes really bad and tears up the house, shes a sweet doll but hyper and bites people

She's about 4 months now

& is a Pomeranian if that helps

Find an obedience class near you. You can google for a local Obedience Club.

Yelling at a dog does not work unless the dog knows what you are yelling about. They don't understand English !

Ripping things up and biting is normal for her age. Get her toys that she can chew. Anytime she grabs something inappropriate, stop her and give her the right toy. Confine her to one room and don't give her the whole house right now. Puppies are like babies and can kill themselves by accident.

She may be hyper because she is bored. How many times a day does she go for walks? Even small dogs need exercise.

I'm not saying it is ok that she is biting. I train my dogs from the moment I get them that biting hands is NOT OK. I either grab their tongue or put a finger down their throat.they usually give up quick. It's not fun anymore.

Put her on a leash when you want to work with her so she can't run away from you. She can also follow you around the house on leash...tie her to you. It's a good way to establish you as the leader, not her.
