What would I have to do to get my boxer from the US to the UK
Start with the U. S. Dept of AG. odd I know but they will get you to the right Dept. There is a quarantine but You can do it in house. There are very specific time lines but it is not hard. You need a specific microchip for the pet. You also must get a titer test ( checks rabies) that must but done so many months before you leave but you can't leave for so many days after the test.That is the quarratine. Shots, health exam, all up to date and done in a time frame. All the info can be gotten from U.S Dept. of Ag. or they can sreer you in the right direction with the U.K. Check with the U.K airlines about the crate the animal goes in. They are stricter then the U.S. I think it is one inch clearence around the animal when he is standing. Good luck.
Find an airline that ships animals. Shipping can cost several hundred dollars.
there is a 6 month quarantine on all animals that land in the UK. my wife found that out when we returned to the states from Germany.
