What would be the best dog to go with a Rottweiler2007-11-25 2:54:25

I already have a 4 yr old male Rottweiler mixed with a German Shepard but i would like a dog that would be good with him. I do not want another Rottweiler again though.

That depends more on the dog's personality than the breed. Is your dog naturally dominant? Then you don't want another dominant one- you want a more submissive one or there'll be fights. Is your dog really submissive? Then you wouldn't want a super dominant dog stressing him out all the time.

Get a Basset Hound, they get along with everyone.

Probably another Rottie, or a German Shepherd. No small dogs that would be intimidate by the Rotties size and strength. Maybe a bulldog or Jack Russel (if you insist on small), they are quite tough dogs and can hold their ground against most anything. Stay away from Pittbulls as others have said. most of them are bred for fighting and your chances of getting a nice one are very slim.
