Answers:Getting a dog is something that needs to be thought through thoroughly. I suggest researching it on the Internet for yourself. Each dog has it's own personality types, disease it can get,etc. It is important that you consider all that before buying a dog. Even though a dog may be cute remember that caring for a dog can be difficult and very trying sometimes as well as expensive. Remember which ever dog you get will live for at least 8 years probably more so you and it need to get along. :)

btw, female pugs can be more stubborn and hard to train

A poodle, because pugs have a lot of medical problems, and can get very expensive very fast. Also you absolutely can't get a pug if you live in a hot area. They can't cool themselves very well and can have heat strokes.
Pugs are loyal, loving and stubborn. If you want a smart dog get a poodle.If you want a lump of love get a pug!

It depends how much grooming you want to do. Poodles require a lot of brushing.
*laughs* I have both a toy poodle and a pug. Poodles are way to smart for their own good and often come off snobby and yappy. This is the second pug i've owned, and i've noticed the breed to be a little stupid, but at the same time they have a lively a fun personality.
I honestly don't care what you get, I don't know you. But if I were you, I'd get a Pug. My experience with Poodles is that they're mean.
