What would you do if this happen to you and your dog(s)

This is what happen to us yesterday: My two dogs and I were enjoying a walk in a park. Ahead of us was a young girl and her Bichon puppy. Off to the left a van pulled up a Belgian Shepard and a German Shepard were getting leashed up to go for a walk. As soon as the GS saw the Bichon pup it took off after it, the owner didn't even get the leash hooked up. Well the puppy got swung around and tussled abit before one of the owners could get there. My first thought was to help the puppy so I continued walking my two dogs (Chow/mix and Springer Spaniel) as I was approaching the girl the GS was still loose and spotted me and my two boys. She (the GS) made a B-line right for us, the dog was growling and barking "MAD"!! I knew this dog was not going to get pass me to get to my boys, so I walked towards the GS and as soon as it was within 3 feet I put my dogs behind and yelled! In the end my two boys and I made it to the girl and stood guard till the GS was caught. What would you have done?

Well done, you stood up to the dog which is exactly what was needed. You showed it YOU were top dog and not it. Exactly what I would have done.

I don't know if I would have done what you did but I would have tried to help in some way. I definitely would have tried to protect the girl and her pup.

I hope the girl got the name of the guy with his 2 Shepherds. They were definitely not trained at all.
