Hi

Aswell as people picking up the dog poo quicker there has been changes to dogs diets. This is the main contributor to a lack of white dog poo. How do I know?? We have a German Shepherd who poos for Britain and even if we dont get to clear up after him for a while his poo just dries up and stays brown. A few years ago we fed him on raw chicken carcuses and guess what, his poo used to go white quite quickly!!! An interesting subject with unfortunately a dull and boring scientific reason!!!!

People aren't lazy anymore and pick up after their dogs so the poo doesn't lay out in the sun drying out and going white!

This is a question I've asked for years. Apparently it's a diet thing - we used to feed dogs all sorts of rubbish but they now get better food. Seems that the poo goes white because the old food was s.h.i.t .

Funny thing, my friend and I were talking about the "old days" and she asked the same thing. To be honest I'd forgotten there was such a thing, but soon remembered when she mentioned it. Sorry, but I don't know what happened to it.
