Whats a good anti itch for dogs2007-11-25 2:54:31

i've tried all the bug stuff it doesnt work.any suggestions?

are you sure it is fleas? maybe it is skin problems or allergies. talk to your vet.

We don't know why exactly they are itching? What kind of dogs? Some are more prne to allergies. What are you feeding? Are there fleas in your area?

If it is from fleas then get some frontline and use it.

If it is from allergies then bathe less frequently, use a DOG shampoo (human shampoos have the wrong pH) maybe one wih oatmeal or tea tree oils.

Get them on good quality food w/o corn or wheat (causes of alergies) wheat gluten or rice protein (causes of recalls) Most of the stuff from the grocery store is loaded with these 4 items.

There are many reasons for itching. The best to ask is your vet. Causes of itching can be:

Diet,

Allergies (internally and externally )

Parasites - (Fleas, ticks)
