(Beware "premium" foods. "Premium" does not mean good nutritionally, and is not a high quality food in that aspect. It has the same types of ingredients as grocery store foods, just a bit better quality of those not-so-good ingredients. Premium foods are those like Iams, Eukanuba, Science Diet, etc..)

If you do switch dog foods, do it slowly. I do this over about a two week timespan:

25% food A, 75% food B

50% food A, 50% food B

75% food A, 25% food B

100% food A

dogs cant drink milk! they are lactose intolerant and it can make them very very sick and give them nutrition problems.

just a FEW of the foods that are toxic to dogs are -

heres some that can kill your dog-

chocolate, milk, ALL stone fruit, most nuts, mushrooms, caffiene, tomatoes, grapes/raisins, anything high in sugar, anything high in fat (including strips of fat from meat), onions, garlic, baby food, yeast dough.

heres some that can cause deficiencies or make them very sick -

raw eggs, raw fish, salty foods, potatoe and root vegetables, cooked meat...

feed your dog dog food, raw bones and raw meat - why would you risk feeding it human food at all???

Milk is vey bad for dogs, they cannot digest it.

Also onions will kill dogs as well as chocolate.

I feed my guy some table scraps, but try and feed him good dog food.

Stay away from regular staore brand and spend a couple more bucks on Iams or something similar, you will come out better in the long run as they will get the nutrition they need.

Also from firs hand experience don't ffed them fatty foods as they have a sensitive pancreas.
