Whats the best dog food
Pedigree is not a quality dog food. Hopefully you will be more motivated to get your dogs off Pedigree for their health than for the sake of your grass.
Pedigree is not the best. But changing food will NOT save your grass.

There are several products that should help.
I feed Innova EVO. My favorites of the less expensive brands is Nutro Natural Choice.
But all dogs are different. I look at their skin and coats and weight and stool volume. The premium foods need no supplement, they poop less and they have super shiny coats.
Remember to blend the new food in gradually over several days. Do not just switch foods or your dogs can get bad diarrhea and could end up with gastroenteritis and a vet bill.
The food I feed my Golden's is Canidae. To be very honest changing the food will not make their urine any less acidic so they will still burn the lawn.
There are pills you can get that will over time reduce the acid in your dogs urine. They have at Dr's.Foster&Smith.com. They do take a while to work but you can give them a try if you want to.
Thats kinda funny that it burns your grass. But anyways I had pedrigree to but I changed it to beneful its great for her and she loves it. So suggest that you change it to beneful its great for you and for your pet. Let me tell you i tried to give my dog pedrigree again and only ate the light nuggets and left the dark ones on the side.
Purina Dog Chow is a good one but if you go to pet places there sure to have lots of food
Read the labels -- Beneful is just as bad as Pedigree. Their commercials always make me laugh by showing an ear of corn. Corn is just a filler. It isn't a nutruient for dogs and many dogs are allergic to it, but they show it on their commercials like it's a wonderful thing?
