We also have a 7 month old so not too hyper either.
Answers:go to the animal shelter and find an adult dog that is mellow and has a history of being good with kids. don't worry about size. my first dog was 55 pounds of lazy pup and he was great in my 2 bedroom apartment.
a stuffed one
something small, but you have to walk it constantly. Run the dog for atleast 20 minutes a day. Even the small ones.
none.i think its cruel to keep animals indoors...how would you like it.
Stuffed.
Well definitely not a terrier!
I'd suggest a Basset hound, naturally coach potatoes with amazing temperaments and small enough size so that they're comfortable in apartment living. I think a basset would be perfect for you.
any small dog. According to the DogBreedInfo website, there are many dogs suitable for the apartment life. From what I can tell, the trend here is that smaller dogs are best for this living arrangement. Here is the list of dogs:
Affenpinscher
American Bullnese
American Hairless Terrier
American Lo-Sze Pugg
Australian Bulldog
Australian Terrier
Basset Hound
Bichon Frise
Bichon/Yorkie
Biewer
Bolognese
Boston Terrier
Brussels Griffon
