Well, since this question found its way into the dog section, why not get one for her? If you don't have much money then you can get a mutt out of the paper! This wouldn't be the best bet, much better getting one from the animal shelter or a reputable breeder. You should save up some cash and buy her a sweet little dog. Good luck buddy! :)

This would be a very big mistake!!! If or when you would brake up then she would hate the dog because it would remind her of you!! This would not be fair for the poor dog!!

The best thing you can do for your girlfriend is to stay true to her!! Never hit, be verbal abusive to her. Always treat her like a lady. I know now days most girls don't really know how a real man should treat them!!!
After being married for over 25 years my husband always treats me like a lady!! He opens the doors for me. Will pull out a chair for me when I sit down. He likes to hold my hand. Once when we were dating he wrote me a poem. After 26 years I still have it!! He like to be touching me when we are sleeping.
Just be a good man to her and she will be happy.
