Whats the longest You had a dog live for? what type ?what did it weigh? what health problems did it have?

Answers:

I had a lab/pug mix that lived for just over 13yrs. She had no health problems other than a little arthritis till her last 6 months. She developed cancer and passed away from it.

If you take care of your dog, and keep it in a fenced yard, or on a long lead. And not let it roam the neighborhood. Your dog should live for quite a while.

One of my male Goldens lived to be 16 years old. He had no health problems until he was 14 years old and then it was arthritis. very common in older dogs. He died of old age. I still miss him.

German Shepherd/ St. Bernard Mix- Female, 100#, lived to be 16, merely died of old age! Very surprising, as Saints are typically known for their lack of longevity.
