Personally...I don't think any dog would be vicious, aslong long as they were trained correctly and bought up in a safe, relaxing, low stress environment.

the smaller dogs are the most vicious by nature. The big ones like Rotts are gentle and kind until you get them going, then they are unstoppable killing machines. If you want something that will attack everyone, get a terrier, if you want one that will kill on demand effeciently, a rot is a good choice. Nothing matches their power, but they aren't very fast.

A Dog is only as good as it's handler - if the handler mistreats the Dog, what chance does the Dog have?

The following is not intended to offend anyone, so I apologise now if I do. All the following breeds are incredibly intelligent happy and easily trainable. The only people who should be offended are those who would mistreat any animal enough to make it vicious.

Rottweillers are heavy when they want to sit in your lap and lick your face :) The German Shepherd was designed to herd sheep (Shepherd = Sheep herder), but these days are incredibly versatile and can be trained to do pretty much anything you want them to. The Rhodesian Ridgeback is a Lion Hunter, but in Australia without any Lions they tend to be incredibly lazy, but extremely good family pets as with all the above dogs and also the Doberman's - they were initially bred to be a family companion dog!
