Whats up with my Dog2007-11-25 2:54:41

my dog just turned 3 and shes acting really weird like she wont let anybody near my car and she barks at people she never used to do that is it a female thing shes the first girl dog i ever had and i dont know whats wrong with her

she's just guarding territory. it's probably just a phase. my dog hides under the sofa if we were sitting on it then after a while if we stood up she would bark and lick our toes. she didnt use to do that and she doesn't anymore, so it was just a phase. dogs have their little habits every now and then.

I don't know why it came about suddenly but it sounds like she's being territory aggressive (you being the territory she's protecting) while it may seem loyal of her, it's a bad habit you should work on breaking now so that no one ends up injured.
