If you teach your dog that you will only give her attention when YOU feel like it, then she should stop barking so much. But most poms are a quite vocal anyway. Just show her you will not give in because you are the leader and you should have a better behaved dog.
Tell it to deal with it, it will get used to sleeping by itself.
my puppy is a pomapoo so he is a little nightmare when it come to leaving him. He barks if i have a shower, house work, cook you name it. So ive been ignoring him till he shuts up then i go to him afew minutes after and give him praise.
He is normally ok at night you just have to be strong and leave him in the living room or someting and let him cry and cry till he gets the hint. My puppy is not too bad now but will have some set backs some nights, and its tough because i live in a multifamily house so you can hear everything, but you have to do it.
