When I have my own house and enough room / disposable income to afford the upkeep of one, I even have the breeder I'm going to get one from picked out!

Hmm, for me, it'd be Siberian Huskies, Welsh Corgis, especially the Pembroke breed, Japanese Spitz and Shibas.
RIght now I have a beagle/spaniel mix dog. I've had a German Shepherd/Collie mix, Chichuahua, Yellow Lab/Spaniel mix, Rottweiller/Black Lab mix, a hound, and 2 English Springer Spaniels. I don't really have a favorite breed, as each one has its own plusses and minuses. My nicest dog was the Yellow Lab/Spaniel mix. My noisiest was the Chihuahua. My smartest were the English Springer Spaniels.
My favorite would have to be bulldog, I've had several different breeds and so far my bulldog is the most loyal, friendliest, and smartest I've had.

We have a toy poodle who will be 15 this year, and a 3 month old Chihuahua. I like them both, but my favorite breed of dog I supposed would be a german shepherd.
