Whats wring with my dog My corgi mix cant run or jump

I have been to a chiro myself, but my real amazement was how fast a dog responds to treatment compared to humans, and I was told that chiropractic care is indeed more effective on animals than humans because they are not dealing with the effects of gravity as much since they walk on four legs. Surgical repair to the spine tend to cause more problems and often requires therapy afterward often which includes chiropratic care/ accupuncture and hydropool swimming and under water treadmills.

I am not against xraying but even xrays don't show slight twisting of the bones or pinched nerves or ligaments, so great major dislocations and breaks which the vet can deal with , but the minor joint problems are often in my opinion can be best dealt with by a chiro with far less invasion/trauma and expense than what western medicine can offer. So when one of my dogs get hurt I usually still go to the vet first if the vet knows the area of injury I go ahead with the x-ray if suggested sometimes they just recommend antiflammatory treatment, but if that treatment does not work, my next step will be the go to a animal chiro to see if they can isolate and treat the problem before heading back to the vet.

The vets physical examine is quite different than a chiro, they check for range of motion, friction in the joint and swelling, the chiro is actually feeling the muscles and each bone to see if it lines up properly with the one beside it, which is why one may miss a problem and the other can note a problem exists
