Whats wrong with my chi2007-11-25 2:53:58

So my Chihuahua (sadie) when she is doing her business ( pooping) she tends to look behide her as if she is not sure whats coming out of her!? Why is she doing this? I have never seen this before. Also when she passes gas. She stops dead in her track and turns around to see where the noise came from!!! Its absolutely hysterical BUT why does she do this? Is she unaware of her actions. Is it her age? She is 4 months old. Oh yea, she acts like she forgets she has a vagina too. She cleans it like its her very first time seeing it. Is it because she is so young that she does all these weird things? oh yea and PLEASE tell me she is going to STOP eatting her own sh i t. because really ..its soooooooooo disgusting and i let her kiss me ..tongue N all! : (

If she is having a lot of gas, you may want to change her diet.

Puppies are like little kids, they are finding out about their world and their body.

Often dogs eat poop when they are on poor diets and there is a lot of undigested food still in the poop. I walk my dogs on leashes and if they poop I pick it up immediately. So they've never learned to eat poop.

Avoid grocery store brands or brands with a lot of grains as a first or second ingredient (corn or wheat).

Toy dogs also need small kibble. Royal Canin, Innova EVO and others are good.

First off, she's still a baby. (mentally) Actually a dog child and you know how funny human children think farts are. Right?
