Good luck.
your dog is allergic wheat put him/her on a gluten free diet
Did you buy him from a breeder? If so I'd call the breeder and ask if any of the other puppies in the litter have had similar problems. University Vet Hospitals seem to have the most up to date information so if you have one near you I'd take him there. They can be spendy but our "fur kids" are worth it!
he might have a really bad emun system and can't handle infection very well.
So sorry your baby is sick. You're doing the right thing by taking him to different vets for assessments. I have a couple of ideas.
1 - His immune system may not have fully developed yet. Has your puppy had all his age-appropriate vaccinations? You sound like a responsible pet-parent, so I assume the answer is 'yes'. How often is he around other dogs? Similar to the human immune system, a puppy's immune system develops as the puppy grows. Young puppies are typically more to getting sick than are adult dogs, and it's entirely possible that your little guy will outgrow some of this if he is catching germs. My dog was sick fairly often during his first year, but his immune system got stronger and he's now a healthy 2-year-old.
2. He may have really bad allergies. You already know that he has some allergies that affect his skin and his respiratory system. Again - as in the case with humans - dogs can have other food allergies/intolerances that cause stomach trouble. 3. Because allergies are caused by the immune system (immune system over-reacting to harmless environmental agents), you could be dealing with a combination of allergies and susceptibility to germs.
