if the dog is bitting its coat go oline and look at petsmart under traing i think its a spray to keep it for bitting its coat.

or i would call the vet they might have medication for him.

You sound very concerned and if he isn't acting normal as you say. My best advice would be to check with your vet. It could be allergies to who knows what. So I think a vet check would be best. All the best for your guy;^)

From the experience I have had with dogs for many years, I would say he is suffering from an allergy of some type. It could be from where he goes outdoors, or if something bit him inside or out and/or a food reaction. Are you feeding him anything different. Also, in combination to the allergy, he could have some sort of deficiency that you are not aware of.
