go ahead you can give him a bath, i would recommend not using flea shampoo it would be to harsh for him. you should use johnson and johnsons baby shampoo its really great because its really gentle and you don't have to worry as much about getting it in their eyes.

I usually give my new pups a bath as soon as they come home, just to get all the other littermates smell and mess off them, use a mild oatmeal based shampoo. I would try to make it as pleasant as possible as this first bath will set the tone for future baths, give the puppy treats when he is standing nicely in the tub and scrub/massage gently, no need to use too much soap.
