A good time to breed is when ALL the dogs in rescue have their forever homes. Leave breeding to the professionals who can maintain proper lineages. Please do not breed or buy while animals in shelters (mostly purebreds) DIE--every day. Google yorkie+rescue, see how many need homes.

Get them neutered and a lot of those behaviors will cease, and they will be calmer & have less risk of getting cancers.

If you have your dogs neutered they will stop humping.

You must finish your dog's AKC championships in the conformation show ring before even thinking about offering them as stud. Any responsible breeder will require that before considering one as stud. The show ring is the proving ground for breeding quality, so a dog that doesn't finish it's championship is not of a quality to be bred.

And FYI, the owner of the female is the breeder of record and owner of all the puppies, not you.

Neutering will take care of the problem. They do not *need* to breed.

They are far too young to breed. And first they need to pass their health tests as recommended by the Yorkshire Terrier Club of America.

they are not of breeding quality.. you would have to show them to see how they match up to the standard,, you would have to have all appropriate genetic health clearances done.. etc. etc... please do not become a backyard breeder/mini puppymill... you have lots and lots to learn before you decide to breed , especially 8 month old puppy... you wouldn't breed the dog till at least age two ( that is the minimum for most health clearances... if you love your dogs like you say,, you would neuter them this week.

All of those other people who are rude...ignore them. Yes, there are dogs in shelters, but they are mostly mutts. You don't see many purebred Yorkies, so just ignore them, they try to put people down.
