when is a toy chihuahua fully grown? I've heard different answers from vets and breeders. what have you guys heard?

Answers:

there is no "toy" or "tea cup" Chihuahua per say, they range from about 3 lbs. to 6 lbs. when full grown and can be long or short hair of any color. It is hard to tell how big they'll be and you can't always judge by the size of their parents. I own a heard of them. The "apple heads" tend to be smaller, and the "deer" a little larger. And again, there is no official "deer" or "apple" Chihuahua, per say just terms to discribe them. Two deers might produce an apple & vise-verse. Usually, they are full grown 6 mos to a year give or take.

There is NO SUCH THING as a "TOY" Chihuahua! You have a RUNT so there is no way to tell how big your RUNT will get. The standard sized Chihuahua ranges from 3-6lb.
