When is it safe to switch my puppys food2007-11-25 2:54:49

The reason why my dog does not eat any chicken, beef, any pork or other poultry is because he is allergic to them. He cannot digest them well and gets itchy etc. So hes been on venison, rabbit, and fish...

Also, wellness sells treat that dont have these bad products...

remember if you give him even a LITTLE BIT of the bad things, it can cause a bad reaction...

Like a human, if you cant have peanuts, you dont even put them on the table,,,

The reason why i am sharing so much is becuase I love my dog and want him to have a healthy life so I watch what he eats very carefully... I do not give him table foods, but soemtimes I will cook some salmon, and put it on a plate for him as a treat.,.

Also, becuase this food is rich in proteins etc... they don't make a puppy brand, but do explain that for a puppy just feed them more...

Also since your switching the pup will ahve a little soft feces... this si normal, what you can do is buy this powder supplement, which helps rebuild the stomach enzymes used during digestion. it will amke it more ocmfortable for the dog. i give it to my pooch every day becuase its good for their digestive tract... i think its called FRESH DIGEST (http://www.petco.com/shop/petco_product_...
