Firstly I am so sorry to hear about your dog. It sound that you know what you must to do. This answer can only be given by yourself. Nobody can say what you must do only you can. I know I would not let my dog suffer. I would want only the best for my dog. It is sad. Keeping your dog alive but you know he / she is suffering is not the best option but everybody is different. I don't know what to say - hope you find the right answer for your situation and good luck

I'm so sorry to hear that your dog is failing at such a young age. I've lost two of my dogs this year and all I can really say is that .they will tell you when it is time.

There are, however, a lot of things that you can do to make things easier. With the explosive diarhea, perhaps the food that you are feeding is causing additional stress. Do you starve her for 24 hours and then feed rice and chicken till her tummy straightens out? Do you give her yogurt to adjust the flora in her intestines? Are you adding plain canned pumpkin to her diet to give her some fiber?

Her leaking may be the cause of her spay, what has your Vet told you to do? Also, if she is crated at night you can control, at least, the areas that she can dirty.

Also, there is a product called Liquid Skin, you can buy it at a drugstore. This may help her nose area from making a mess.
