should my dog have a baby at 10 months?

and my puppy hasnt bin on heat yet and she is 10 months what is wrong??

Vets recommend she should not have puppies until she is at least a 2 years old to make sure her body if full formed and able to carry puppies that will come out healthy. And if she isn't a purebred, you probably shouldn't be breeding her because anymore that is what people want to buy, not mixed breed. Mixed breeds seem to be the ones who wind up at the shelter and just thrown out when a newer better dog comes along. She probably doesn't have anything wrong, she just may not have come into heat yet or like the person above said, she may have had a silent heat. You really should discuss breeding your dog with your vet and find out what their recommendation would be as far as when and if she is healthy enough to carry puppies. They may want you to start her on vitamins before she is red, update her vaccs, ect. Good Luck and please talk with your vet.

What breed is your dog? Larger breeds often don't come into heat the first time until they're around a year old. If your dog is a small breed, she might have had a silent heat.
