The first thing you already should have thought of is going to the local pound, never mind thinking of shopping at a STORE!

The dogs sold online and in stores are from puppy mills, please read about them, and google them up. If you wanted one from those 'sources' anyway, you would have googled it already, in other words we are doing your googling work.

Pounds have all kinds of mixes like that. There could also be an actual breed that interests you. You can buy one from a reputable breeder, not the hottest sale in the newspaper.

Why not just get a pure bred shih tzu or maltese from a responsible high quality breeder instead of paying several hundred more for a mutt? I still can 't believe why on the earth people keep on paying obscence amounts of money for a mutt just because some idiot that bred them and gave it a fancy name

Your local shelter.. That is a mixed breed dog, shelters specialize in them, you can get the best deals, and not only that, you are NOT supporting a puppymill or a petstore, and you will be saving a life..Save a life, and consider a rescue!

Do not buy from a store, they sell puppy mill pups. Buying a mix from a website is also a bad idea...they are often disguised mills.
