Looking for a pet and therapy dog, that I would like to train as a puppy.
Answers:DON"T buy a puppy, you can get a loving pure-bred one from a local rescue. One that needs a home and for MUCH less.
I live in Sac and know there are 2 great Golden Rescues
Hello...ASK your vet or a local vet, clinics.look to see if there are any lab/ retriever rescue centers too..tho doubt you will find much..Sac is so near alot of hunting areas, they are hard to get...you don't neccessarily need a retriever as or for a therapy dog..any good, good tempered & well behaved dog is good for that, even a luvable MUTT :) Take Care
