Where can I find good free dog house blueprints/plans2007-11-25 2:54:59

I can't seem to find any online!

We'd like to build a large house for two dogs, preferably 2 room or two door.

Any help would be greatly appreciated! :)

I hope this helps, you could modify it if you need to.

Dog House- The drawing and the photos explains how to build a dog house out of one piece of plywood (96" x 48" x 1/2").

Please note that you have to cut a 1/2" stripe off the top of the front piece.

Use 2 by 2s as an inside frame and screw the plywood pieces on (use rust proof screws). Mount the assembled dog house on a wooden frame (2 by 4s) and provide isolation.

Make sure that you can remove the roof for cleaning the interior.

Paint the assembled dog house to protect it against the elements and cover the roof with waterproof material.

You might also mount a frame, made out of 2 by 4s, around the entrance. This deflects the wind and protects the opening from being chewed on.
