Where can I get a free or very cheap Yorkshire Terrier Yorkie Puppyin ATL2007-11-25 2:54:17

I am looking for a yorkie puppy in Georgia. I would prefer if it was in Atlanta but if it is elsewhere in Georgia. I need one free or cheaper than 100 dollars. I've checked a lot of websites but most of the dogs are really african scams. Please help me I really want a yorkie puppy!

Go to a pound. There you can find cheap, possibly free ADORABLE yorkies looking for a home. Not only will you get a pet of your dreams, but you will help the animals.

Go to petfinder.com and do a search. You may be able to get one from a rescue. There are plenty of great dogs out there that need a good home; you will only get what you pay for if you are out looking for a "cheap" dog.

Look on petfinder.com. I love Yorkies and have one myself. He was more than $100 but less than alot of the ones you see advertised in the paper. i don't think you have to spend alot to get a great dog!

Please go to your local humane shelter or even search for a Yorkie rescue group located there near you...but before either of these, please be sure you are able to care for this breed properly. Yorkies are excellent companions and are intelligent, inquisitive and usually very entertaining but they are also sensitive and generally very feisty, spirited little dogs and need much of their owner's time and attention. They also need special care of their coats. Be prepared to be a responsible owner of such a breed and be willing to set aside adequate time to care for this breeds needs. I have a little Yorkie and I'm glad I chose that breed.

Why would you want an inferior Yorkie puppy. In most cases you really do get what you pay for. So if you want "cheap" go ahead, but don't be surprised when the vet bills exceed the price of a well bred one.
