realistically, you probably wont be able to sell her for $600.

this is because -

1. anyone who is interested in buying her is going to want to know why, after paying out $600 and having her for only a couple of months, you are selling her. They will probably assume something is wrong with her.

2. she is 5 months old. unless she is a breeding dog (and AKC registered doesnt mean she is good enough to breed), then people generally want very young pups.

3. you can get pure bred AKC registered shih tzus for MUCH cheaper.

youve only had her a few months at the most - why cant you keep her?

I suggest advertising a lot everywhere you can. also get in touch with the breeder and your local vets, let them know she is for sale.

you MIGHT be able to sell her for $300.

pets are for life... next time, dont get one if you are not totally prepared for the responsibility.

aqua you telling her to be careful who she sales this dog to if she runs an add in the paper..She wants to tell this poor little thing to a pet store or on consignment. I think I would take my chances on the newspaper.

It isn't hard to sale a Shih Tzu. Run an add or tell your vet. Word of mouth works wonders, but never sale to a pet store. The breeder that you bought this puppy from should take it back. You would lose your money but at least the puppy will have a better chance than from a pet store.
