Cherry eyes are common. They need surgery for that, too.

Tear stains under the eyes.. most all the time.

They drool and slob - a lot.. alot !

They are very, very poor swimmers. Wading pool is OK

They rarely have pups without a c-section. Look at the head, chest and barrel. Look at the slender rear = yep, 1 + 1 equals 2 and 2 can't fit through 1.

Bulldog dams sometimes don't make it through a breeding. I mean, they die. Bulldog dams should not be bred unless they are very, very healthy - for a Bulldog - and because of the c-section and all the scarring where they were cut and sewn back up, they should not have more than 3 litters. If you find a breeder doing more than 4 litters - even with their best Group winning dam - I would walk away.

first of all, there is no way that the word :"cheap" and "english bulldog" can even be in the same sentence! Especially for a puppy. They're expensive enough when you first get it but then the medical bills add up because despite their looks, they are very fragile dogs... on the inside. look into the breed and think long and hard before you make a decision on this dog. They require A LOT of maintenance that some people just can't handle. You have to be completely dedicated to this dogs needs. But if you're willing to spend the money on it and do it... more power to you.

Dont get one if u cant afford to buy one in the first place. These dogs are very expensive to own. They tend too have lots of health problems. I love mine but hes not a cheap dog.
