The smaller the Yorkie, the pricier the medical problems. Even if you get one for free, any dog will run you over $1000 a year to maintain. I have a friend who rescues them and pays over $3000 for a liver shunt.

Yorkshire Terriers are VERY expensive. You won;t find a puppy cheap. You may find one on Petfinder or in a shelter, but they would be older dogs if you do and they go very quick.
Also toy breeds can cost a fortune in vet bills. If you can;t afford to pay the going price for a pup chances are you won't be able to afford to keep it healthy.
Go for a bigger dog, but again go to Petfinder or a local shelter. You will save a life and get a cheaper price on the dog.
