Where can i get low cost puppies
The dog won;t be free, but most are less than $250. The rescues have to cover all the costs that come around with doing rescue.
Here's what I did when I was looking for a companion for my dog...
I went to the local rescue group that I adopted my first pet from. I left my name & phone number, along with "specifications" of the dog I was looking for (i.e, I preferred a female puppy that would be similar in size to my dog once she was full grown).
You can do the same thing. Go to www.petfinder.com and you can get the adresses & phone numbers of rescue groups in you area. Tell them that you're looking for a small female puppy or young dog that is not prone to shedding. It might take a while though because small breeds tend to be more quickly adopted than larger breeds.
