Where did you get your dog from
I have owned many dogs over the years. I have had dogs from the humane society and dogs from breeders. I also have dogs from a litter I bred myself.
I'm going to get one soon.
Either private breeder or adoption.

How can you call me Selfish, you don't know me or what I do. I'm a registered breeder, I rescue Golden Retrievers that are dumped at the animals shelters that are from some result of backyard breeders. The only selfish people around here are the ones that are irresponsible and let their poor xbreed or unregistered pure bred pet get pregnant by the dog up the road, these are the ones you are adopting from the pound. Most responsible breeders help out with their Breed Club and rescue dumped unwanted dogs/puppies as they LOVE the breed they have, giving Hundreds of dollars to help that so they are rehabilitated and not put to sleep.
My first one I got from a friend that had 2 dogs that had puppies. The dog I have now I got from a pet store. I made sure it was a good one and I got to hold it and play with it to see what I was getting. I couldn't have asked for a better puppy!
I got one of mine from a friend of a friend. And I got the other one at a festival in the nearby town from someone that was walking around trying to give puppies away. They are both mixed breeds. I kind of feel like I rescued them from the doggie pound.
