Where do i find cheap pet dog toys2007-11-25 2:54:23

i have been looking for some dog toys but they are really so expensive at pet store can you offer me where to buy them..

price should be $6 or less shipping must be included the price

Is there a Dollar Store near you? Dollartree? etc.

WalMart has racquet balls 3/$2.50, in the sporting goods area; my dogs love those and they are for some reason sturdier than anything from PetSmart or Petco.

A co-worker gets stuffed animals for her dogs, at the thrift store; she removes hard eyes and noses, but her dogs mostly carry them around, they are not chewers & shredders...

Bear in mind that you usually get what you pay for; cheap toys often fall apart more quickly and you need to watch that the dog does not ingest anything.

Your local WalMart or pharmacy or even grocery store has toys-- BUT make sure they are not small enough to be swallowed (choking hazard) and make sure there are no little eyes or noses or tails on them that can also be swallowed and cause damage to the pets throat or stomach.

If it's a dog toy, make sure it's sturdy enough to last more than a day (I bought a big toy for a Chihuaha once and saw it get shredded in 15 minutes)

You could try a garage sale or a second hand store.they should have alot of stuffed animals for you to pick from.Ones that make noise are the best they always end up ripping them up anyways.And its cheap

Walmart..They have a bunch for .88 cents I get them all of the time because I have a dog who chews everything!!!

Buy heck! You can make some pretty cool toys that they love. You can take a 20oz plastic soda bottle and put some small rocks in it and put the top back on. They love that. You can also take an old pair of socks and put a tennis ball in the sock and tie it in a knot. They like that too.

Look on the clearance sections at any store, Target, Wal Mart.I have found awesome toys for less that way.
