Good Luck
Never ever buy any puppies from a pet shop!!!
try adopting a dog. regardless if it is not the breed you 'want' visit the pound there may be a loving animal needing a good mommy and home. So many dogs are put down each year because they are not adopted.
definetly NOT from any local pet store ... you should just really look in to this and not just buy the first one that you see... i suggest that you try to find a local breeder that knows alot about this kind of dog and has had experience with these dogs... i recently got a chihuahua from a breeder in my town ... or check online at puppyfinder.com
Contact the USDA(United States Department of Agriculture) They oversee all reputable breeders all over the U.S. They can put you in contact with a breeder for the pup you want. You should really see the parents, that will tell you how big(small) the pup will get and if there are any abnomalities that you would not see if you bought one off the web or a pet store. Teacups are great if you can deal with the VERY smallness of them. They literally eat teaspoon of food. Talk to a vet before you buy for any info they have on health problems of that breed.
The best way to buy a puppy is from a Breeder. This way, you can be sure you're getting a healthy pup. Pet store puppies are often from puppy mills, places were female dogs do nothing but make puppies. Many times, they are mated with their own offspring or a brother/sister.
