-another problem with the Pedigree is that the third ingredient is chicken by-product meal. By products are a low quality source of nutrition.

-the 4th ingredient is corn gluten meal. Why do they add even more corn?

-the 6th ingredient is animal fat. Again, this is not that big of a deal, unless your dog has allergies to certain meats, because they do not specify what animal the fat came from. But what is a bigger problem is that the fat is preserved with BHA/BHT which can cause very harmful and long -term effects on dogs.

-Another problem is that this food contains wheat gluten. A culprit of the recent pet food contamination problem. With new reports of food being contaminted every day, I would suggest you stop feeding Pedigree immediately if the blend you are feeding contains wheat gluten.

I think the chicken rice and vegetables is better. Dogs need their vegetables too.

None, not a single Pedigree food is a good quality food..

Look at the ingredient listing for the chicken Rice and Vegetables... GARBAGE The Dyes cause cancer.. It's a corn based food, meat and bone meal, MORE CORN. chicken by product meal, animal fat, not beef fat, not chicken fat, but ANIMAL, could be anything.. BHA/BHT Cause cancer... It's not a good food at all.. You are buying the pretty picture on the bag and that's it...
