Which dog food is better
My vote would be to try the home cooked for a week. Make a huge pot of it, and portion out according to the size of your dog. Freeze or refrigerate in tupperware boxes for the week. If it doesn't work out, you've only wasted a week and you know that Canidae is a pretty good kibble. I think you'll enjoy the home cooking though...it's great for human and animal, and eliminates a lot of problems that kibble can cause. Good luck!
Canidae is WAY better than Iams. Iams is crap to be honest. You could prepair your dogs food for them but this can be pricey and take a lot of time to do. So it's really up to you.
Iams doesn't cut their dogs up and leave them suffering. -_- Thats a stupid thing PETA set up to make them look bad, just as PETA does with everything. Iams DOES do skin test though. PETA says they hack off limbs and leave them in a pile to die. Iams really cuts off a bit of the mucseal in the leg to do test on it. However the dogs arnt left in a pile to die bleeding. They get fixed up and placed back in the cages.
IAMs is bad generic dog food. You should try a healthy organic dog food. I haven't heard of Canidae but it's got to be better than IAMs. Not to mention IAMs does cruel tests on animals like cutting them open while they're alive.
