As for the rest, the best ''family dog'' would be the Boxer. Highly energetic, but almost always non-aggressive. I've only come across one who was, and it was due to insecurity ("leash aggression" towards other dogs).

None of these dogs are aggressive.

P.S. It's ''Husky''. No 'e' in there. They're wonderful dogs too, but require a good amount of grooming. Pugs have sensitive respiratory systems, due to the pressed in snout.

This is definately a question of personal choice. I personally do not care for the smaller dogs except that Beagles are SO darn cute! I prefer larger dogs. However, it all comes down to personality. Choose the dog with the least maintenance (not a pug) and the best personality. Personality is top. As for an agressive? Any dog can be aggressive, you have to teach him not to be. Watch "dog whisperer" on national geographic channel or by his book "ceasars way". This will help you to train any dog properly.

boxers tend to be great with kids. siberian huskeys will shed everywhere, don't know about pugs, and mixes tend to be good too. i think you have to meet an individual dog, however, because like people, no two are the same. are you looking for a pet? i say go to the pound and meet some needy dogs and let your heart decide. bow wow.

i go for the boxer less hair to deal with. boxers are very good nature protective breed. thay are a working dog . huskies on the other hand thay are beautiful dogs but thay shed alot!!!!! so if you don't mind all that hair around your house go for it. boxers are a good family children and non aggressive but are active to. a pug is good ,but thay are a small breed thay do shed alot. i don't know to much about other than thay can be some what of a lazy or active dog . that tend to get over weight if fed to much food . the jack Russel is a terrier that are very hyper breeds and Always have non stop energy and always being active in a small breed some Jack Russel's can be aggressive ,but if raise from a puppy and it grows up with a family and small children then you would be OK. a mutt or a mix breed you don't know what you got it can be anything mix with anything. a beagle thay are consider the hound group thay like to hunt things and thay howl instead of bark. thay do shed just as much as the pug does that cab be a small breed or a standard breed beagles come in two different sizes the most populars the miniature size it weighs about 12 to 15 pounds i think. to really research on these breeds go to the web www.American .com then most of your answers can be solved good luck.

Just a plain beagle is the best! I have one and boy he is the greatest!! Buddy (mine) would never be aggressive, only in the case of someone attacking or hurting me or my family :D He is very active too! he will walk anytime and is sooo friendly! Beagles are also food obsessed by the way :D but they always run it off!
