i think a husky is definitly the better breed if u r active. If u arent that active i say a pug is better becaue they dont need to exercise a whole lot

lets see, husky great temperament, very active personality, but lots of grooming (aka shedding allll over the place )and they need a lot of room. A pug as mentioned above are made to be more lap dogs and have respiratory problems most of the time ( although cute ,do you really want the snorting wheezy sound everywhere you go? something to think about . ) Jack russells straight or mixed are very active , compact so good if you have a small place, also with beagles / beagle mixes. But they often noisy - howling breed so if your an apartment your neighbors might not appreciate it . I'd say the boxer is the best choice, average activity, minimal grooming, average size and great temperment and no real predisposition to medical problems
