I have seen blood hounds try to bite, but I really haven't seen too many of them.
Pit bulls are great with people. You just need to be careful about having multiple pit bulls around small creatures, such as children, cats, and small dogs. They are bred to "gang up" and attack. But as far as having one for a pet, they are a good choice. However, proper training, as with any breed, is recommended.
I would have never guessed the Pit Bull but, I would still go with the cocker spaniel
The pit bull is definitely the best dog. The cocker spaniel is statistically one of the most reported for bites in the country. Look it up, they held number 1 for years.
Your source of information may be a little biased.
Compare at least 3 to 7 to get a true average.
To keep it unbiased get police reports, animal control stats, other breed breeders stats, Prof. Trainer stats, fighters stats, etc. I bet the results will have different results. There are many other breeds besides the three you mentioned, so again I think your findings are a little biased.

I have raised and owned them for approximately 15 years and never had a human aggrassive dog .and they have a natural attraction to children.
obviously the pit bull good luck with that.
