its a smaller breed and kind of looks like a white yorkie
Answers:The maltese is closest in size to a yorkie, but the bichon friese, West Highland Terrier, Coton de Tulear are all small breed white dogs.

The only ones I can think of are maltipoos, chihuahuas, shitzoo, or a pomeranian.

Both are long haired small white dogs.
Sounds like it could be a Westhighland White Terrier.
If it looks like a white yorkie, it's a maltese. If it has wavy/curly hair & a long tail, it's a Bichon.
Definitely a maltese. ;)
