Answers:Okay so if you have a dog you want to return here is my best advice. Call the people you got the dog from and be honest. Explain your reasoning and give them the choice, would you like me to bring him back to you or find permanete placement on my own? Most people will apperciate your honesty and the fact that you gave them the choice. I recently had to take a dog back myself, My dog and him did great at the meet and great, however once we were at my house it got really bad, and it ended up being a situation that was not fair to either of the two dogs. When I brought him back the lady was very understanding and apperciated the fact that I notified her first. I was worried she was going to be angry but it was just the opposite.
HOWEVER.. If roles are reversed and someone is bring a dog back to you, Make sure that you take the time to listen to there reasoning, It is probably best for the dog to be back. and put a listing on Craigslist, to start the process over again and find them another home.
