A decorator made himself a sandwich in my kitchen while I was out, my dog reached the sandwich before the decorator. A struggle for the tasty snack ensued. The dog won. The decorator is very upset and sulking. Who had more legal right over the sandwich the decorator or the dog. (The dog is a resident)

Answers:

Why was the decorator slacking off and eating your food. THe dog was just attempting to remove the ill gotten items to a safe location, the fight occured, the dog in a panic ate the food to save it. Your dog did the right thing-tell that decorator to get back to work and eat on a scheduled break away from your house:)

i would say the dog...

he didnt know it was not his to take.. mentally his capacity to understand is not like a humans. The owner should have left temptation out of the dogs way.

Also the dog has ate it, so it doesnt exist unless the person who made it wants it back then he has to wait until the dog lets it out the other end.

clearly if the dog got there first, and had it in his mouth...it belonged to the dog. The decorator must have been awfully hungry to wrestle a strange dog in its own house for by then, dirty and mangled sandwich...cheeee make another one...

i would say its no ones sandwich because its not a living thing and does not belong to anybody.i have to say that you made my day reading your question made me laugh,and so far its been a crap day but now thanks to you its getting better lol

Weird question! I'd say the dog (was it your bread the decorator used?). Just tell the decorator to make him/herself another sandwich.

The decorator because he made the sandwich.It would be bad habits for the dog to learn to steal off tables and from people.
