Great question! LMAO. This sounds like something that would happen at my house! The "proper" answer would be the decorator. The dog should have better manners and not eat the food from a guest in the home. But my official answer is the dog. The decorator shouldn't have put it within reach of the dog, and REALLY shouldn't be sulking over this. Is the decorator 4 years old? LOL. It's just a sandwich...make another one and be smarter than the dog.

Just for the record, I'm a firm believer in dogs rights in their own home. People who come here either love dogs or deal with it. They are my babies and they live here, the people do not. That's just the way it is. If they don't like it they can stay home!

The decorator is a PAID service and therefore in your employ, so no matter what anyone here says, whatever you decide is correct. If it's your house rule that dogs have first right to unattended sandwiches, so be it. Tell him/her to quit crying and pick out your fabrics, or go decorate a pet-free home and eat their food!
